Radiator Cap Clip On Fits Most Vehicles
21430-01F01 Radiator Cap OE
It is always best to change the radiator cap when extensive work is done on the engine or cooling system of your vehicle.
When you decide to overhaul the engine it has to be removed, disassembled, cleaned, inspected, repaired as necessary and put back together using factory service manual approved procedures. This procedure generally involves honing, new piston rings, bearings, gaskets and oil seals. The engine should be overhauled to within limits or service limits, or a combination of the two using used parts, new original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, or new aftermarket parts. Once these parts are changed and replaced the engine should be able to cover a similar distance to previous before needing repair again.
Aftermarket part manufacturers are often the OEM part-suppliers to major engine manufacturers and many of these parts can be used with confidence as the tolerances are correct.
